Las Palomas is remarkable! I go every Friday. I absolutely love their selections and everything tastes phenomenal. I get a lot of food when I go from a burrito or a torta, pupusas, tacos, tamales and a jarrito or a San gria followed by pan dulce for dessert. Also I am a vegetarian and they accommodate me wonderfully.

Really delicious find while on vacation in Reno! We had several sweet breads and a Chorizo burrito, everything was so good! Friendly service and great prices too. I wish they made smaller cakes and desserts so we could try those too! Will definitely return!
Ive been looking for handmade corn tortillas in Reno for years, and they are here! Tacos con tortillas a mano. Very different from machine made tortillas. Not cheap, just fantastic. Way smaller than Pastelaria Ideal in Mexico City, or an 85C, but a lot like it and just as good! Grab a tray and tongs, and take home a boxful of treats.
Pozole Rojo, Carne Asada plate, fresh corn tortillas all delicious. Great hot sauces. Excellent service. Fun selection of pastries. And beer!
